The team has been working hard to bring new and exciting features to Humley Studio. We’ve got several new additions we can’t wait to tell you about.
Channels & Microsoft Teams – To successfully engage with your customers, you need to “go to where they live”. And in 2019 it’s fair to say that your customers are interacting on more channels than ever before; Hangouts, Facebook, Twitter, Alexa and so on.
You’ve always been able to connect your assistant to various channels with the Humley API but, to make this even easier, we’ve released our new Channels page where you will be able to activate pre-configured channels for your assistant in a few simple steps.
We’ve started with Microsoft Teams and will be adding more throughout the coming months.
Spelling Extension – Spelling mistakes and typos are common and inevitable, especially when your customers are in a hurry. Your conversational assistant needs to be able to take this in its stride and our Spelling extension helps with this.
You can find and activate it from the Extensions page with a couple of clicks. Common spelling errors will be corrected automatically behind the scenes, but you can also build a dictionary of words not to be corrected (your brand name, for example) or specific words you want to be substituted with something else.
System Entities – Creating your custom entities is great, allowing you to extract information relevant to your product, services or anything else that may be unique to your conversational experiences. We do recognize that building patterns for some entities can get complicated, however.
So we’ve added a powerful feature that lets you create an entity and choose its properties from a list of pre-configured System Entities – dates, phone numbers, and dimensions among them – meaning you can immediately recognize important parts of your users’ conversations with less setup.
