Quality Assurance Manager

About the Role

We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join our team in Northampton, working directly for the Head of Development and with the Product Team. Your role will involve managing the testing resource, preparing test plans, and then carrying out manual and automated functional, UI, and API tests on our platform.

Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience
Hours: Full Time (35 Hours) with typical office hours of 9.30 am-5.30 pm and a 1-hour lunch break. Humley also offers flexible working from home.

Role Responsibilities:

Create test plans for our releases.
Execute test plans with the help of the Development Team.
Report bugs, inconsistencies, and UI behaviour that doesn’t look right within the platform.
Create automated API tests using internal and external software.
Work with the product team to deliver the product in the final stages.
Prioritize and manage the QA Teams' resources.

Essential Skills for this Role:

The ideal candidate for this role will have strong problem-solving skills, the willingness to think outside the box and the confidence to get stuck in from day one.

Good eye for detail and understanding of UI.
Ability to think logically and break down components of a system.
Passion for continuous improvement.
Great communication & collaboration skills.
Outstanding project and time management skills.
Understanding of JSON, APIs, and Load Testing.
Experience with Excel, and Postman.
